Buildings Associated With Freemasons – Victoria
530-540 Johnson Street was built in 1879 by Giacomo Bossi, a member of Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 in Victoria. Giacomo Bossi used the building as the Grand Pacific Hotel. This building is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places as the Grand Pacific Hotel.

Giacomo Bossi is buried in Ross Bay Cemetery, Victoria. The angel on his grave is known locally as the “Bossi Angel” and is one of the most photographed grave monuments in Ross Bay Cemetery.
