Here is a brief biographical sketch of Wor. Brother Eide Henry Peterson taken from local newspaper reports of his death and funeral:
“Peterson – On Jan. 16, in the Veterans Hospital, Victoria, Mr. Eide Henry Peterson, Payne Road, Duncan, aged 87 years. Besides his loving wife he is survived by two sons, John, Maple Ridge and Ronald, Richmond, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Peterson were held on Jan 18 from Hirst Sands Chapel with the Rev. G. Allan Kerr officiating. Interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
