For March 2018 our featured deceased Vancouver Island Freemason is Alexander Edmund Batson Davie (1846-1889), a former Premier of British Columbia.

Each month Temple Lodge No. 33 features a deceased member as a way of highlighting Masonic history in Duncan and the Cowichan Valley.
Our Featured Deceased Member for March 2018 is Theodore Vincent Sandys-Wunsch (1892-1966), a retired A/Commissioner of the R.C.M.P.
Theodore Sandys-Wunsch is buried in St. Peter’s Quamichan Anglican Cemetery in North Cowichan.

The Regular Meeting of Temple Lodge No. 33 for March 2018 will be held at the Duncan Masonic Temple, 163 Canada Avenue, Duncan, B.C. on Tuesday, 13 March 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
Among other business, we will be balloting on a Petition For Initiation.

On 27 February 2018, at 7:30 p.m., Temple Lodge No. 33 will be holding an Entered Apprentice Degree to Initiate two Candidates into Freemasonry.
This special event will be held at the Duncan Masonic Temple, 163 Canada Avenue, Duncan, B.C.

Admiral Lodge No. 170 is hosting the Grand Master’s Official Visit to District 27 on Saturday, 10 February 2018. All Visiting Brethren are very welcome to attend.

SUBJECT: 2018 Gizeh Shrine Spring Ceremonial May 17th – 20th
The Cowichan Valley Shrine Club is hosting the Shriners of BC and Yukon 2018 Spring Ceremonial and we are trying to get the word out to all the Masonic Lodges and Concordant Bodies, Eastern Star, Jobies, DeMolay and any other Masonic Family member you might know.
We are asking that you pass this email or letter along to any Masonic Family Member to let them know about the Shrine Ceremonial. Through your help we will be able to get the word out.
There are Ceremonial events that are open to the Public and we are inviting all the Masonic Family to Participate in our Shrine Parade on Saturday May 19th starting at 10 AM (see our Cowichan Valley Shrine Club website for more details).
