  • February 27 Grand Master Official visit to District 5 Doric Lodge
  • March 3rd  Beer and Burger night, from 4-7 at the Timberlands Pub. Job’s Daughters fund raiser.  Dinner includes a Burger with salad and fries, and your choice of a beer or wine for $20.(Dan has tickets)
  • March 08  DDGM Official visit to St Johns Lodge No. 21
  • March 17  DDGM Official visit to Malahat Lodge No. 107 (Saturday) Lodge tyles at 1:00 pm
  • March 24  District 27 Education day at Malahat Lodge No. 107 (Saturday) 10:30 am

Gizeh Shrine Spring Ceremonial – 17-20 May 2018

The Cowichan Valley Shrine Club has asked us to post the following message:

TO: ALL MASONIC LODGES, CONCORDANT BODIES AND MASONIC FAMILY

SUBJECT: 2018 Gizeh Shrine Spring Ceremonial May 17th – 20th

The Cowichan Valley Shrine Club is hosting the Shriners of BC and Yukon 2018 Spring Ceremonial and we are trying to get the word out to all the Masonic Lodges and Concordant Bodies, Eastern Star, Jobies, DeMolay and any other Masonic Family member you might know.

We are asking that you pass this email or letter along to any Masonic Family Member to let them know about the Shrine Ceremonial. Through your help we will be able to get the word out.

There are Ceremonial events that are open to the Public and we are inviting all the Masonic Family to Participate in our Shrine Parade on Saturday May 19th starting at 10 AM (see our Cowichan Valley Shrine Club website for more details).

AND TO ALL MASONS, NOW IS THE TIME TO BE A SHRINER. CONTACT A SHRINER FOR MORE INFORMATION AND A PETITION.

Moka Only – Toys For Tots Charity Concert- Nanaimo – 15 December 2017

Vancouver based hip hop musician Moka Only, a Freemason (he is a member of a Lodge in Vancouver), is headlining Hip Hop’s Toys For Charity 2017, a charity concert to raise funds to help needy families at Christmas.

This concert will be held on 15 December 2017 at the Queens Hotel, 34 Victoria Crescent, in downtown Nanaimo. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. The Queens Hotel is only a few blocks from the Ashlar Masonic Temple, 101 Commercial Street, Nanaimo.  Tickets are available at Fascinating Rhythm, half a block west of Ashlar Masonic Temple.

We encourage all interested Freemasons to attend and support our Masonic Brother Moka Only in this charitable event.

Regular Meeting Of Temple Lodge No. 33 and D.D.G.M. Official Visit – 14 November 2017

The Regular Meeting of Temple Lodge No. 33 for November 2017 will be held on 14 November 2017, 6:00 p.m. at Duncan Masonic Temple. Please note the change to 6:00 p.m. from our usual 7:30 p.m. meeting time.

This meeting will also be the Official Visit of our District Deputy Grand Master to Temple Lodge No. 33. In order to allow members of Admiral Lodge No. 170 to take the ferry to and from Salt Spring Island to attend the D.D.G.M. Official Visit we have moved the meeting time to 6:00 p.m. instead of our usual meting time of 7:30 p.m. 

Visiting Brethren are, as always, very welcome to attend.

Cowichan Valley Shrine Club Presents Certificates of Appreciation to Cowichan Collision and Mark’s Instant Sign Shop

On 26 July 2017, the Cowichan Valley Shrine Club presented Certificates of Appreciation to Cowichan Collision, 5194 Mearns Road, and Mark’s Instant Sign Shop, 750 Jubilee Street, two local businesses which provided their services, free of charge, for the Cowichan Valley Shrine Club‘s antique fire truck, which is used in Gizeh Shrine fund raising for Shriners Hospital For Children.

Cowichan Collision painted the fire truck while Mark’s Instant Sign Shop provided the new decals on the fire truck.
