James Findlay sent a Petition For Affiliation to Temple Lodge No. 33 on 12 March 1918. It stated he was born in Belfast, Ireland, was 40 years old, and was a member of Moose Jaw Lodge No. 26 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He stated his occupation as Printer.
He was sponsored for membership in Temple Lodge No. 33 by William Lorne Dunn and Harold Fairfax Prevost.
The Committee of Investigation, consisting of James Grieg, James McLeod Campbell and Hugh Savage reported favourably and James Findlay was duly elected to membership in Temple Lodge No. 33 by Affiliation.
