Worshipful Brother Christopher Dobson House
220 Beech Road, Duncan, B.C.
This house was built by Worshipful Brother Christopher Dobson at 220 Beech Road, Duncan, B.C. in 1912 as his family residence.
The house is considered a local heritage building and has been included on local tours of heritage buildings by the Cowichan Historical Society.
Worshipful Brother Dobson also built a downtown Duncan commercial building in the 1890s to house his bicycle and carriage business. The building is still standing at the NW corner of the Station Street / Craig Street intersection in downtown Duncan. The building's street address is 101 Craig Street.
W.B. Christopher Dobson is buried in the St. Peter Quamichan Anglican Cemetery east of Duncan.
